Pineapple Upside Down Cake
What You'll Need
- 1/4 cup butter or margarine
- 1 2/3 cup packed brown sugar
- slices pineapple in juice (from 14-oz can), drained
- maraschino cherries
- 1 1/3 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 cup sugar
- 1/3 cup butter flavor crisco melted
- 1 1/2 teaspoons baking powder
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 3/4 cup milk
- 1 egg
How to Make It
- melt butter pour into bottom of 9x12 pan,Place pineapple rings on top, add cherries to middle of rings spread brown sugar on top of pineapples
- in bowl mix flour salt, sugar, baking powder set aside
- next whisk egg, milk, and add to dry mixture then add crisco mix well then pour ontop of brownsugar in pan.
- Bake at 350 for 30 minutes or until knife inserted comes out clean. Flip onto cake plate when cooled.
